In 2019, Jil won the title of Mr. Gentleman International and represented Germany at the first Global Asian Model World Finals, where he proudly made it to the top 10. Since then, he has graced major international fashion runways, including walking for Jhay Layson during Milan Fashion Week, and collaborating with legendary designer Michael Cinco in New York for his 2023 holiday collection. He also made a standout appearance at LA Fashion Week, modeling for Joseph Auren’s SS23 collection and has featured in Vogue Asia, Gettyimages and Mega Magazine.

 

Beyond modeling, Jil is passionate about acting aspiring to make his mark on the global stage. He appeared on a german TV-Series (Der Alte „Pias Geheimnis“). He personally connects deeply with scripts through research, visualisation, and exploring character traits. His favourite actors are Will Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert Downey Jr.

 

A business-minded individual, Jil studied Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, with a semester spent in Pennsylvania. He has been self-employed since the age of 14, starting an e-commerce business, to blockchain and now working in software  solutions. His ultimate goal is to build his own company, create job opportunities, and support individuals with different abilities.

 

Jil’s love for technology was recognised when he was invited to a Los Angeles radio show in 2022 to discuss winning an award in the tech space. His hobbies include optimising building projects and composing music. He has played the piano since the age of 6, and maintains an active lifestyle with football, tennis, yoga, and frequent gym sessions.

 

Fluent in both German and English, with a working knowledge of French, Jil embodies internationalism with dual citizenship from Germany and the Philippines. His ambition, creative mindset, and ability to see trends before they happen are key traits that fuel his success, both in the fashion world and beyond.

 

With no regrets, Jil embraces every experience as a stepping stone in his journey. His spirit animal, the eagle, symbolises his vision, focus, and determination to soar to new heights—whether on the runway or the big screen.
