Bringing together Synth Pop, Dance Rock elements reminiscent of groups such as Empire of the Sun, Tame Impala and Jungle, Helsinki-based Dream pop band Aves are setting the scene for the musical journey ahead with the track “The Seasons”. The new tune features multi-instrumentalist Conal Kelly who has been praised by the likes of “Wonderland Magazine” for taking bedroom pop to a whole new level.
The Seasons is one of the band’s new singles of 2022, which will lead into the next album, and knowing that the band’s first album led to several shows in Finland, and in Sweden, Norway, Germany, UK and Canada, and the band’s last single “Doubt” received widespread support including a BBC Radio 6 premier on Lauren Laverne’s show, it is with no surprise that we certainly are excited to see what is next for the band.
Many talented European singers and songwriters are currently collaborating on the album, including Lake Jons (FIN), Lac Belot (FIN), Charlotta Curves (FIN), Shadi G (SWE) and Leifur Eriksson, (IS) among others and these featured vocalists will be elevating the new sound and bringing their own unique spice to the mix.
The group’s vision guides everything they produce from their original sound and praised live performances to the strong visual identity and all we know so far is for the new album Aves are returning to their Nordic roots for inspiration.
