Number 5 – Better with the Devil by Khazali
Making it in to the top 5 we have an Indie tune titled ‘Better with the Devil’ by Khazali, the idyllic countryside visuals at the start of the music video accommodate the turning point for the performer as he is seen later chased by what seems like a creature with horns ready to rightfully claim its home after it was potentially previously dug up. Very catchy and a song you can listen to on repeat in the early hours of the morning.
Number 4 – Something Greater by Parcels
The visuals to this alternative track take us back to earlier times and without spoiling too much, the ending implies the actor wants a deep connection with someone & maybe even a family life, with LFW ending, many would be able to agree that parties can only sustain you for a certain amount of time.
Number 3 – Who’s In Your Head by Jonas Brothers
A pop track that makes you want to have fun and get high through the night. The Jonas Brothers bring us a catchy upbeat tune that was co-written by hitmakers Max Martin and Rami Yacoub.
Number 2 – You Will Be Found by Sam Smith & Summer Walker
This song speaks to the soul on so many levels and it is with no doubt that this song has featured on the film soundtrack to the upcoming ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ film which will be released September 24.The film follows an isolated high school student aching for acceptance in a cruel world. If you can choose one quality, choose kindness and make a good difference in a world that needs repair.
Number 1 – Summer Rain by Majid Jordan
A perfect R&B track with an everlasting flow officially marking the end of Summer would be a quick sum up to Majid Jordan’s new track. Who are the duo behind this song one may ask well Majid Jordan is a Canadian R&B duo, consisting of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman from Toronto, Ontario. They’re signed to OVO Sound which happens to be co-founded by rapper Drake so who knows where this great duo will get too.
